When you are planning your engagement photos, you have so many options, it can be a little overwhelming!
Start by choosing the style you want to have in your photos. Do you want your photos to feel free and loose? Maybe try a field where you can run wild. Want some romance and elegance, look for stunning architecture. That’s exactly the idea behind this session: romance and classy elegance.
Reach out to your photographer to see if they have some recommendations for the setting adn feeling you are going for. Chances are they will be able to guide to some unique locations!

The Nebraska Capitol building has so much variety; courtyards, arched hallways, rotundas, tan stone walls, and the grassy park around the exterior.
Outdoor locations are easy to come by, but indoor ones are much more difficult to find so it’s always nice to have a location with both outdoor and indoor options! No more having to reschedule because of the rain!
“What if we took our engagement photos at the Capitol,” is the RIGHT question to ask. This session brought all the elegant, classy castle vibes you could possibly want.
They had also just freshly planted the courtyard for Spring so our timing was perfectly spot on.
